August marked the 20th anniversary of the Neighbor to Neighbor organization at Governor’s Land. President Barb Chatigny opened her home to 45 members for a seated luncheon. It was the annual thank you event honoring 19 Board Members and 38 street reps who provide neighborly support and care throughout the year. The festive setting followed a green, yellow, white and purple theme with beautiful bouquets of flowers on all the tables.
In her position, Nicolle is responsible for increasing golf and marina memberships as well as growing special events at Two Rivers Country Club. She brings more than eight years’ experience in management and is a Certified Event Planner.
There was a big “celebration” at The River Room at Two Rivers Country Club last week. A series of buses and stretch Hummer limousines brought guests to a traditional Hindu prenuptial ceremony, followed by a formal dinner and dancing to the tunes of soul and funk music group Kool and the Gang, most known for their 1980 hit “Celebration.”
