Last Saturday, more than 120 members joined us for a night of mingling with friends, family and neighbors at our annual Valentine’s Day event. Love was in the air as our members enjoyed a delectable meal, dancing and live entertainment.
Always a popular evening at the Club, Oysterfest is Saturday, January 28.
Exciting news! Travel + Leisure has named Williamsburg, VA one of America’s Favorite Towns in their eighth annual America’s Favorite Places survey.
Readers particularly appreciated the centuries-old heritage and mellow atmosphere. Williamsburg offers both visitors and residents a unique shopping experience, ranging from rare volumes at Mermaid Books, heirloom seeds and 18th century plantings at Colonial Nursery to legit petticoats at Mary Dickinson Shop.
Also noteworthy, the bakeries received high marks in the surveys, especially the gingerbread at Raleigh Tavern Bake Shop.
Member Carol Pulk and her band of helpers have been busy decking the halls at Two Rivers Country Club. From the moment you step inside the Club, you’ll be surrounded by holiday cheer and decor.

Congratulations to the winners of the 25th Anniversary Celebration of Two Rivers Country Club 2016 Men’s Member Guest Classic, held September 22-24!
Holding the trophy is Brendon DeVore of Long Beach, CA next to Jack DeVore, his nephew. Jack’s father, Dustin was scheduled to play, but developed back issues. At the last minute it was approved that Jack, a high school freshman at Jamestown High, would play in his stead. The trophy was awarded by Chris Warring, Head Pro of Two Rivers Country Club (pictured on the right).
On Sunday, Sept. 4, members gathered to celebrate Two Rivers Country Club’s silver anniversary. Residents mingled and reflected on fond memories with their neighbors as they enjoyed a fun afternoon of food and friendly competition.
The outdoor games were a highlight for many members. With laughter and smiles, the kids raced across the lawn during the potato sack and three-legged races.
Members are invited to join the festivities as Two Rivers Country Club celebrates its silver anniversary. On Sunday, September 4, residents are invited to share memories together, enjoy friendly competition, games, great food, dancing and even the world’s (well, TRCC’s!) largest Banana Split.
The Fourth of July offers a fun-filled day for TRCC members to gather with their friends and family to celebrate America’s Independence.
A Patriotic Tradition
The day’s events begin at 11 a.m. with our annual parade. All residents and guests are invited to ride their decorated bikes, scooters and golf carts through the course. The Colonial Williamsburg Fife & Drum Corps lead the parade as red, white and blue fill the streets.
Prizes will be awarded for the most creative and most patriotic decor or attire, and participants should plan to arrive by 10:30 a.m.
